Chris Petersen is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of senior level experience in general management, brand strategy & development, marketing, media and business advisory services in diverse industries ranging from broadcasting, newspapers, advertising and public relations to telecommunications, aerospace, construction and restaurants.
Most recently he served as President & CEO of Brandstand Group, a national chain restaurant brand development firm. Previously he was President & CEO of broadband services (cable) provider Prime Time Broadband, Senior Vice President for Space Media at SPACEHAB, President & CEO at PR services firm NewsUSA, President of the NSE Radio Network, General Manager of Lakes Country Communications and Producer of Space Shuttle Television at NASA’s Johnson Space Center.
While at Lakes Country Communications he oversaw a group of radio stations and a group of newspapers, successfully consolidating their operations and sales into a single unit. At NSE Radio Network he designed and executed a rapid turnaround of satellite programming operations leading to profitability and eventual sale to a strategic buyer.
Chris started his career as an on-air radio talent working at stations in New York, Houston and several other markets. He also was a TV sports anchor at CBS affiliate KHOU in Houston, Texas.
